# PumpBTC Pre-Season Participation Guide

## 1. What's PumpBTC

**PumpBTC** serves as a Liquid Restaking Solution for Babylon. Its mission is to bring DeFi into the Bitcoin ecosystem, driven by an ecosystem-centric approach and supported by seasoned DeFi experts and industry-leading partners.

## 2. How to Participate in the PumpBTC Pre-Season Program?

Before participating in the Pre-Season program, we need to understand two key roles in PumpBTC:

1. **Team Captain:**
   * Team Captains must stake **0.02 BTC** or more to create a team.
   * Once a team is created, the Team Captain currently receives 10 invitation codes to invite Tier-2 members.
   * Each Tier-2 member receives 5 invitation codes to invite Tier-3 members.
   * Tier-3 members do not receive invitation codes.
   * Team Captains earn **8%** of the total points accumulated by their Tier-2 members.
   * Tier-2 members earn **16%** of the total points accumulated by their Tier-3 members.
   * Points earned by Tier-2/Tier-3 users in future activities will also generate rebates for their upline.
2. **Team Members:**
   * There is no minimum staking requirement for team members.
   * Team members are divided into Tier-2 and Tier-3 members.
   * Both Tier-2 and Tier-3 members must use an invitation code to join a team.&#x20;

## 3. Specific Steps

1. Open the website: <https://pumpbtc.xyz/>. Click on the PumpBTC Babylon Pre-Season poster image to enter the event.

2. At this point, you will see two buttons: Create Team and Join a Team (by entering an invitation code)

### 3.1 Team Captain

1. Click on "Create Team" to be redirected to the points information page.&#x20;

Here, you can view the detailed breakdown of your points. Your total points consist of two components:

* Self-Staking Points: Points earned from your own staked assets
* Invitation Points: Points earned from your team members' stakings

2. Click the "Invite" button. As a Team Captain, you will see 10 invitation codes available for use

### 3.2 Team Members

1. Enter the invitation code to join a team. You'll be redirected to the points information page, where you can view a detailed breakdown of your points.&#x20;

Your total points consist of two components:

* Self-Staking Points: Points earned from your own staked assets
* Invitation Points: Points earned from team members you've invited (if applicable)

2. Click the "Invite" button. As a Tier-2 member, you will see 5 invitation codes available for use.

Tip: When a team has **3 or more members,** users unlock access to additional information. On the page, you'll be able to see:

* Detailed staking information for each team member
* The Team Treasury
